During a recent episode of Southern Charm, Madison LeCroy made the shocking claim that Shep Rose gave Danni Baird chlamydia back when they dated nearly a decade ago. Now, in a new interview, Baird is fighting back and slamming LeCroy for talking about something she knows nothing about, adding that the claim was “hurtful and untrue.”
While speaking with The Daily Dish, Baird said that she feels LeCroy’s decision to spread the rumor was “clearly calculated,” and she believes it was directed at both her and Rose.

On the episode, LeCroy told Rose, “You don’t f—— scare me. You’re a bully … You want to know facts? I heard you gave her (Baird) chlamydia. That’s what I heard. That’s a fact … Ask Austen.”
LeCroy made the accusation during an argument with Rose when they were on a cast trip to Steamboat Springs, Colorado, and later her on-again, off-again boyfriend Austen Kroll admitted he was the one who told LeCroy about the rumor.
LeCroy has never gotten along with Rose because she believes that he and Craig Conover have been trying to cause problems in her relationship with Kroll. In the past, Rose has called her “white trash,” and even though he apologized they have never really worked things out.
Baird believes that all of this happened because both Kroll and LeCroy were “harboring some underlying resentment” towards her and LeCroy was looking for revenge. Earlier in Season 6, Baird accused LeCroy of trying to cheat on Kroll with her boyfriend, claiming that LeCroy had been trying to contact him on Instagram.
Now, Baird thinks that LeCroy’s Chlamydia claim happened because she never got over the Instagram situation. Instead, LeCroy got increasingly angry, and Baird had no idea she felt that way. However, that doesn’t excuse LeCroy’s accusations.
“You can’t put something like that out there, especially if you’re addressing it as being a fact if you have no idea if it’s a fact or not,” said Baird.

LeCroy apologized after the incident, says Baird, but Kroll has never acknowledged his role in the situation. Baird believes that the best thing LeCroy and Kroll could do isn’t giving an apology, but changing the way they treat people.
As for the rest of the cast, it’s pretty clear that they are on Danni’s side and can’t believe that Madison would air dirty laundry like that – true or not.
