Cairo explosion: Egyptian capital rocks as at least 17 dead in horror blast as car crashes

The Health Ministry confirmed the blast, which ripped through the National Cancer Institute in El Manial, Cairo shortly before midnight.

A further 32 are believed to be injured.

Reports suggest the explosion was caused by an oxygen cylinder in a car driving into oncoming traffic that collided with with three other vehicles.
