Novak Djokovic kisses wife Jelena during loved-up Marbella holiday after Wimbledon win

Novak Djokovic, 32, and his wife Jelena Djokovic, 33, are currently making the most of spending some quality time together after the tennis player won his fifth Wimbledon title last month. The couple were spotted enjoying each other’s company during a sun-drenched holiday to Marbella as they strolled down a beach hand in hand. Novak gazed into Jelena’s eyes and put on a cosy display with his other half when he paused to wrap his arms around her. The tennis ace then planted a tender kiss on the philanthropist’s forehead as they embraced by the ocean.

Novak opted for a casual ensemble in a white T-shirt and shorts, while Jelena stunned in a yellow vest top and a navy blue mini skirt with a lace trim.

The blonde beauty accessorised with a necklace and a pair of sunglasses as the pair went barefoot for the relaxing outing.

Novak and Jelena’s romantic break comes after the Serbian sportsman addressed his wife’s absence when he emerged victorious at the Wimbledon 2019 final.

After beating Roger Federer, 37, to win the title, the star spoke to Sue Barker, 63, about who he was planning on celebrating with.

He revealed: “It’s extra special sharing it with my son in the crowd and my parents, the whole team.”

Opening up about why Jelena wasn’t in the crowd for the final, he added: “My wife and my daughter are here in London, but they’re at home. So I give them a big, big hug.”

Turning to the camera, he addressed Jelena and his daughter Tara as he said: “I love you and I’ll see you soon.”

The tennis star then jokingly concluded: “Back to being dad I guess as well.”

Jelena and Novak first met in high school and went on to date 13 years later.

The tennis champion proposed to his other half in September 2013 before they tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony on Sveti Stefan in Montenegro in 2014.

The couple are parents to two children, Stefan, five and Tara, two.

Novak addressed his role as a dad in a candid interview with Tennis World USA.

He divulged in reference to Jelena: “She would agree that when we became parents four years ago, that has completely shifted our world upside down.

“Up to that moment we were also spiritual but still quite basic compared to what has happened after that.”

The world number one in men’s singles tennis went on to praise his partner for all of her support during his career.

He gushed: “She was having a lot of opportunities for her own career but she sacrificed that in order to live my career, live my dream in order to save the relationship.

“I am grateful for her and what she has done for our relationship and for me and I keep on continuing to learn from her so much.”
