Fortnite season 10 update: Long-awaited feature FINALLY coming to Battle Royale

Fortnite season 10 looks set to bring with it a highly anticipated new feature to Battle Royale.

The landmark 10th season of Fortnite Battle Royale launched this week, with the headline additions the new B.R.U.T.E vehicle and the rift zones.

Epic Games has promised that Fortnite season 10 will boast an evolving map, so the world you play in one day could be completely different the next.

And following the release of Fortnite update V10.00 one dataminer has discovered a major upcoming Fortnite season 10 map change.

On Twitter Fortnite leaker FortTory revealed that Neo Tilted looks set to be transformed “slowly” into a Wild West POI.

It has long been rumoured that Fortnite would be getting a Wild West setting, with rumours emerging way back when during Fortnite season 5.

And it looks like Fortnite will finally be getting this Wild West area, with western buildings set to appear in Tilted.

FortTory tweeted: “Neo Tilted will slowly change to a Wild West kinda look!”

The leaker also posted a series of datamined western buildings coming to Tilted in Fortnite Battle Royale.

It looks like this map change could be introduced as early as season 10 week 2, with the loading screen for that week showing a Wild West setting.

Elsewhere, it also looks like Paradise Palms could be getting a major transformation during Fortnite season 10.

Players have discovered clues that suggest the Moisty Mire location could be making a return to replace Paradise Palms.

Trees have been spotted sprouting out of the ground in Paradise Palms, while the sign outside the POI appears to be hinting at the Moisty return.

The background in the Paradise Palms sign now looks almost identical to the swamp that originally sat in the south-east corner of the Battle Royale map.

Fortnite season 10 launched on Thursday on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android, PCs and Macs.

In a post online Epic Games outlined what fans can expect from the latest season of Fortnite Battle Royale.

The Fortnite makers said: “Time is twisted and the Zero Point has become volatile in Season X.

“Whether you’re nostalgic for the past or excited for the future, there will be plenty for you to discover all Season long.

“Locations once thought to be lost have begun to appear on the island, but they aren’t the same as they once were.

“Board the Battle Bus and drop in, but keep an eye to the skies to spot the new Season X mech vehicle, the B.R.U.T.E.

“Crashing on the island as the Battle Bus takes off, these merciless mechs seat two players and works best with a partner, so grab a squadmate, hop in, load up, and roll out.”
