EE takes on Three Mobile with incredible new smartphone data deals

EE has announced new “Flex” plans that appear catered to customers who do not want to be tied down to a SIM only contract.

Unlike a lot of other SIM only plans, Flex is pay as you go, meaning customers are able to take advantage of it for as long as they like or drop it as soon as they want.

Moreover, EE has declared unused internet data with Flex plans will be carried over to the following month.

This means if a user has a 15GB allowance but only uses 10GB that month they will be given an extra 5GB for the next one.

EE is currently making its Flex plans even more tempting though by giving customers triple the data for no added cost.

Two options from EE are currently touting the offer.

The first is a £10 per month Flex plan that comes with 6GB of data instead of its usual 2GB.

This particular selection also comes with 1,000 minutes and unlimited texts.

For those craving a greater allowance, EE is also offering a £15 Flex plan with 15GB of data instead of 5GB.

This selection also comes with 2,000 minutes and unlimited texts.

EE’s new deals launch a huge challenge to Three Mobile that is renowned for its SIM only offerings.

Three Mobile similarly offers pay as you go SIMs and is currently doubling data allowances on two in particular.

The first costs £10 per month and comes with 4GB of data instead of 2GB.

This option also comes with unlimited texts and minutes.
