Fortnite Season 10 leaks: Season X leaked skins, map changes revealed in story trailer

The Fortnite Season 10 trailer has leaked ahead of the August 1 release date.

This article does contain spoilers, so stop reading if you don’t want to find out what’s going on ahead of the Season X launch.

The leaked trailer – which can be seen below – was mistakenly posted in Brazil ahead of time.

As you can see from the tweet below, the image quality isn’t the best, but the story trailer does reveal some crucial Season 10 details.

The thing that’s immediate obvious is that Season 10 will serve as a kind of greatest hits package, containing skins, weapons and locations from past seasons.

Judging by the leaked trailer, fans will be transported back to a time before the meteor hit the map.

We also see vaulted weapons like the tactical SMG, which appears to be making a comeback.

The trailer ends with Jonesy landing by Dusty Depot, leading to speculation that the POI will indeed return.

As you can see from the tweet above, fans have also spotted some of the new skins launching with Season 10.

Judging by the leak, it looks like Sparkle Specialist and Omega will be unlockable in Season 10, perhaps as part of the Battle Pass.

Previous Fortnite teasers have suggested that the Ragnarok and Drift skins could also make a return.

Fans will find out for sure when Season 10 launches on August 1.

When the servers go down a new update will be ready to download and a new Battle Pass ready to purchase

In addition to map changes, new items and skins, the update will fix a lot of long-standing issues currently being investigated.

According to the early patch notes, Epic Games is working on solving an issue with players getting stuck at the ‘Sending Report’ screen after reporting during a replay.

Update 10.0 will also hopefully fix a problem with wraps appearing different from their Locker icon, players falling of ziplines and getting stuck under opponent-placed ramps.

Lighting has also appeared darker since update 9.20, so fingers crossed the next patch has a fix to make things brighter.
