  • Neymar should be allowed to leave Paris Saint-Germain – Verratti

Done Deal?

Malcom has supposedly agreed to join Zenit Saint-Petersburg.

Spanish newspaper Sport are claiming that Malcom’s arrival is imminent after a £36.7million deal, with an additional £4.5m in add-ons, was agreed between the two parties.

It’s reported that Zenit will pay Malcom £105k per week.

Everton attempted a late swoop but Malcom decided that he ‘didn’t like the offer’ before deciding to join the Russian outfit.

Wanted: Junior Firpo

Barcelona are in pursuit of Real Betis star Junior Firpo.

That’s according to ESPN FC, who claim the Spanish champions have renewed negotiations with their La Lia rivals.

Real Betis would allow they versatile left wing-back to leave for £22million – substantially less than his £37million release clause.

But Barcelona are yet to offer more than £18million for the 22-year-old Spanish Under-21 international.

Everton hijack

Everton are still in the hunt to sign Barcelona winger Malcom.

Malcom, 22, has failed to live up to expectations since his £37million move from Bordeaux last summer.

The Brazilian star is one of three players who doesn’t hold an EU passport at Barcelona – and the club want him off the books with the potential return of Neymar in the pipeline.

Zenit Saint-Petersburg were thought to be on the verge of signing Malcom, but Spanish newspaper Diario Sport claim the Toffees have made a £40m bid.

Neymar price-tag

Barcelona have been handed a boost in their pursuit of PSG superstar Neymar.

The Catalan giants want to bring Neymar, 27, back two years after his world-record £200million transfer to the Parc des Princes.

The French champions were thought to be demanding £200m – but the latest reports from Spain claim they will accept substantially less.

Sport are reporting that PSG will green light Neymar’s exit if a £180m straight-cash bid is offered.

Samuel Umtiti to Man Utd

Manchester United have their sights set on Samuel Umtiti.

That’s according to French publication Le10sport, who claim Ed Woodward and Co. have given up on Leicester’s £80million-rated Harry Maguire.

It’s said that United have turned their attentions to the France World Cup winner and will rival Manchester City for his services.

The Red Devils are prepared to spend £46m on the 25-year-old defender – but Barcelona value nearer £55m.

Marco Verratti on Neymar

Neymar should be allowed to leave Paris Saint-Germain and secure a return to Barcelona, if that’s what the Brazilian wants.

That’s the opinion of his PSG team-mate Marco Verratti.

“A club cannot try and keep a player that really wants to go,” Verratti admitted. “I have never heard him say he wants to leave, but I don’t know what he tells the club.

“It would be disappointing to see him leave, but he suffered an injury while with Brazil and is going through some tough times with his private life.”
