Brock Lesnar return
The Verizon Arena’s official Twitter account claimed that Universal Champion Brock Lesnar will appear on RAW ahead of his title match against Seth Rollins at SummerSlam on August 11 at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.
The tweet read: “@WWE Monday Night RAW JUST ADDED – Universal Champion BROCK LESNAR! coming to Verizon Arena on July 29th!! Grab your tickets today.”
Lesnar has been performing on a part-time basis with WWE ever since his return from UFC in 2012 and his last three world titles reigns didn’t make any changes to his schedule.
Seth Rollins vs Dolph Ziggler
Seth Rollins is set for a difficult challenge ahead of his Universal Championship Match with Brock Lesnar as he will take on Dolph Ziggler on RAW.
Rollins received some unexpected backup from D-Generation X and The Kliq last week on RAW Reunion as WWE Hall of Famers Shawn Michaels, Triple H, X-Pac, Road Dogg, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall helped him push away AJ Styles, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson of The OC.
Michaels then appeared on SmackDown as the guest of The Miz’s talkshow Miz TV but suffered an assault by Ziggler.
Rollins is looking to thank The Heartbreak Kid for his help last week by avenging the attack he suffered from The Showoff.
Samoan Summit
Roman Reigns and Samoa Joe had a heated confrontation on RAW Reunion as the latter insulted his fellow Samoan’s family.
Reigns then defeated Joe in an intense match but it seems their feud is not over yet.
The two heavyweights will meet up again in a “Samon Summit” to try and bury the hatchet.
But WWE.com teased another brawl that could in turn set up a match for SummerSlam.
Becky Lynch vs Alexa Bliss
RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch appeared as a guest of Alexa Bliss’ talkshow A Moment of Bliss on RAW Reunion but she ended up brawling with her SummerSlam challenger Natalya.
Bliss has had enough of her show constantly descending into chaos and is looking for some revenge when she takes on Lynch in a non-title match.
Expect Natalya to get involved in some way – The Queen of Harts may join Michael Cole, Corey Graves and Renee Young on commentary.
Gauntlet Match
US Champion AJ Styles will find out his first challenger for the title at SummerSlam tonight on RAW.
Rey Mysterio, Cesaro, Sami Zayn, Andrade and former champion Ricochet will battle in a Gauntlet Match.
Expect Ricochet to come out on top as he still has unfinished business with Styles.
Title match
RAW Tag Team Champions Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder of The Revival are set for a very difficult challenge on RAW.
Dawson and Wilder will defend their titles in a Triple Threat Match against The Usos as well as Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson of The OC.
All three teams are coming in to the bout with plenty of momentum and a shock finish could occur.
24/7 Championship showdown
The 24/7 Championship will open RAW with a Mosh Pit Mixed Tag Team Match.
Titleholder R-Truth will team up with his associate Carmella against Drake Maverick and his wife Renee Michelle.
In this free-for-all bout anything can happen and that means non-wrestler Michelle could become 24/7 Champion.
