Charley Webb baby: Emmerdale star gives birth to third child with Matthew Wolfenden

Charley Webb, 31, and her husband Matthew Wolfenden, 39, are now proud parents to three children, confirming the arrival of “Baby Wolf” on Instagram this evening. Emmerdale favourite Charley shared a picture of the newborn dressed in a white onesie bearing the words “Baby Wolf” with her 282,000 followers. “Baby Wolf #3 has joined the crazy gang,” she captioned the upload. “We’re in a bubble of newborn’ness heaven.”(sic) Fans and pals rushed to congratulate the actress on her new arrival, with many flooding her page with comments.

The couple’s co-star Brooke Vincent, 27, who is expecting her first child, gushed: “Ahhhhhh Charley!!! Congratulations.”

Actress Michelle Keegan, 32, gushed: “Aww congratulations my darling.”

One person said: “Congratulations to you all.”

Another person gushed: “Congrats to you, @matthewwolfenden55 and the rest of the family.”

While a third person added: “Huge congratulations to you all.”

Charley – who plays Debbie Dingle – in Emmerdale and her husband Matthew are already parents to their two children – Buster, nine and Bowie, three.

The family initially announced their pregnancy news in a sweet Instagram post earlier this year.

Meanwhile, Matthew – who plays David Metcalfe in Emmerdale – admitted his wife’s pregnancy journey had not been plain sailing as he spoke out about her sickness on a recent episode of Loose Women.

Panellist, Coleen Nolan, 54, quizzed: “It’s funny as well because Charley isn’t a big fan of being pregnant but a big fan of giving birth.”

To which the soap star nodded in agreement and admitted his Charley is not a big fan of being pregnant but actually enjoys the birthing process.

He replied: “She is. She’s a bit odd like that. She’s not enjoyed it. This one [pregnancy] has been particularly brutal. She’s been ill from the get go and it’s just not relented at all.

“But she actually enjoys giving birth. She would say that but it’s a bit odd.”

Coleen quizzed further: “Does she get sick?”

Matthew said: “Yeah she’s just been sick since we found out [she was pregnant] and she still is now and we’ve got six weeks to go.”

His admission comes after his partner also opened up about the condition brought on by her pregnancy, which has caused her debilitating pain in her pelvis and back.

The soap star admitted she had not told the ITV directors of her recent diagnosis of symphysis pubis dysfunction (SPD), a pregnancy-related condition.

Speaking to OK! magazine, she said: “Turning over in bed is nearly impossible and is so painful.

“I can’t stand up for long, so I’m filming a lot of scenes sitting down.”

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV.
