As Galaxy S10 prices drop Samsung's flagship gets this critical update you must download

Samsung Galaxy S10 owners should finally begin seeing July’s security patch arriving on their devices.

This update fixes a number of Google Android problems along with 13 vulnerabilities and exposures that are specific to Samsung.

The July security update should be downloaded and installed the minute it becomes available as some of the fixes it includes have been deemed critical.

In a post on its blog, the Korean firm said: “At Samsung, we take security and privacy issues very seriously and we are doing our best to respond as quickly as possible.

“Securing your device and maintaining the trust you place in us is our top priority.”

Samsung releases monthly and quarterly security updates on selected Samsung devices which include the Galaxy S8, Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S10 variants.

There’s no word on when all S10’s will get this update but SamMobile is reporting that users Switzerland and Germany have begun seeing this 388MB download in their system settings.

Along with Samsung’s flagship getting this important update, there’s more good news with this device beginning to get some decent discounts and deals.
