Game of Thrones may be over but that hasn’t stopped everyone analysing every inch of the beloved HBO show, including the actors.
Gary Wales appeared in season six, and although he was killed off the show, his Frey character was dear to him.
The actor recently told Express.co.uk how he believed if he was ever going to go back to the show in one of the spin-offs, it would have to be as part of the family.
Gary explained: “I actually liked being a part of the Frey clan! What actor wouldn’t want more screen time or a bigger role?
“But I’m honoured to have been a part of one of the more memorable moments of the series.”
The star added: “I would have loved to [have been in the finale] but as you know most characters got killed off. Just like mine in season six.”
Bringing the Freys back would actually make sense for the upcoming prequel, Bloodmoon.
Although little is known about the content of the prequel it has been revealed by George RR Martin it will contain the Stark family.
And if it contains northerners, it’s sure to contain the Freys in their early days too.
But will they be as scheming as Walder Frey (played by David Bradley) in Game of Thrones? Or will fans get to see just exactly what it was that caused the rift in the first place?

Meanwhile, Gary is on the promotional trail for his new and exciting Hollywood debut in The Deal.
The movie, which is set for release in Summer 2020 sees a young couple in a hurry to get out of town.
They kidnap and car jack a man who is called Burks Hill, and he in turn agrees to take them to Los Angeles as long as they allow him to live, but it never quite works out as planned.
Gary spoke about his character, revealing: “I play Glover, the sidekick who is an international hitman.”
He added: “I think I brought Glover to life with my accent, the power behind my vote and my overall performance.
“The creator, Marlon Ladd, told me recently, ‘I’ve been able to go through most of the footage and your stuff looks great!’
“As an actor, that’s always pleasing to hear,” Gary admitted.
But how did filming The Deal compare to Game of Thrones? Gary revealed: “Filming The Deal was amazing, the cast and crew behind it was absolutely amazing. They treated me like family.
“In comparison to filming Game of Thrones and The Deal, the biggest difference was that The Deal was filmed in 100 degree Fahrenheit temperature each day.
“When I shot Game of Thrones, on the other hand, it was filmed in Northern Ireland in the month of November and as you can imagine, it was absolutely freezing. The contrast of both climates will probably stand out to me for a very long time.”
