Meanwhile, Jessica Chastain, who plays older Beverly in It Chapter Two, has spoken out on her record-breaking bloodbath scene.

One that saw 4,500 gallons of fake blood used for the shocking moment.

According to Comic Book, she said she wants to push the limits of the genre.

Chastain said: “I was like, ‘No if we’re going to do it, let’s do it.’ I love horror films, I love Carrie, and I said, ‘Let’s make Carrie on steroids.’

Stephen King horror fans will know the most famous shot from Carrie sees the school girl completely covered in blood.

However, looking at trailer footage of Beverly, it looks like Chastain was in a sea of the stuff.

On shooting the bloodbath she added: “And that’s what we did and it literally tortured me because I didn’t realise that it would be that way the whole movie.”

It Chapter Two is released in UK cinemas on September 6, 2019.
