How does Tommy Fury keep in shape? Boxer has incredibly fit physique

Tommy Fury entered the Love Island villa with a bang, and many women have vied for his attention over the past few weeks.

However, he quickly settled down with Molly-Mae and the pair have been stealing hearts with their romance.

Tommy’s boxer’s physique is one many will envy.

The boxer is in the light-heavyweight category.

In amateur boxing, light heavyweight is a weight division above 165 pounds (75 kg) and up to 178 pounds (81 kg).

On his Instagram account he has posted videos of himself boxing, but also lifting weights, doing biceps curls, flipping tires and pushing weights on a sleigh.

Before entering the ring for the first time Tommy weighed 12st 11lbs 8oz and he is 6ft tall.

He told sports website JOE at the time that being inspired by his older brother helped him to get in shape.

Tommy said: “It’s maximum motivation, isn’t it? Looking at someone who’s been brought up the same way as you and he’s gone on to achieve such great things.”

Videos of Tommy posted by his brother Tyson on Facebook show the younger boxer in great shape at some public workouts.

Tommy can be seen sparring with his trainer.

In the video Tommy say: “I want to show everyone. I’m not just going to do it for the last name. I’m here to take over.”

Hundreds of comments were left on the video praising the fledgling sporting star.

One said: “He looks so sharp. Good things for this lad.”

Another wrote: “He looks good, it’s going to be easy work for him. So I think he’ll win in the first round by KO.”

His trainer Ricky Hatton has said: “I didn’t need to give Tommy any advice about keeping fit.

“You can see from his physique that he looks after himself.”

Tyson Fury has lost a lot of weight in recent times. The boxer has hugely fluctuated in his size.

Tyson has lost an amazing 10 stone thanks, in part, to the keto diet.

His coach Kristian Blacklock devised the programme, and revealed: “Tyson’s not a massive veg lover, but we do find there are things he will have.

“There’s a peanut butter chicken recipe we’ve had on this camp which has been his favourite, cooked by his chef Tim Alcock.

“If you’re enjoying your food, dieting it a hell of a lot easier.”
