Childish Gambino, also known by his name, Donald Glover, might as well add ‘motivational speaker’ to his already extensive resume! That’s right, the rapper and actor might just need another alias for his motivational speaker career on the side since he just delivered one very inspirational speech!
Glover’s words of wisdom were directly shared by the artist with the audience at his concert that took place at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia, just last night!
As for the topic, the impromptu discourse was all about moving on in life and letting go of the past!
‘I got injured before and I couldn’t come. My father passed. I couldn’t come. And none of it matters when I am up here, because I get to see you guys. And I mean this in the best way possible. None of it really matters. You can’t hold onto s**t your entire life. Everyone, you guys look really young. So a lot of stuff mean a lot of things to you right now. And they should. That passion’s what drives all of us,’ he told his fans in attendance.
Indeed, the star canceled a number of shows last fall, including one in Sydney after breaking his foot during another concert in Dallas.
Then, just weeks later, he was once again prevented from performing there since his father, Donald Glover Sr. tragically passed away.

Speaking of his late dad, Daily Mail Australia also reports Childish Gambino quoted him on stage, saying that ‘Life is like the ocean. It is in and out. It’s like breathing. You let as much of it go as much as you receive. Laugh all of your laughs. Cry all of your tears. Allow yourself to just be.’
