Anne Hathaway is pregnant! The actress revealed today she is expecting her second child with her husband, Adam Shulman. She also hinted that she had endured some infertility struggles
The Oceans 8 star shared her news via Instagram on Wednesday.
“It’s not for a movie. All kidding aside, for everyone going through infertility and conception hell, please know it was not a straight line to either of my pregnancies. Sending you extra love,” the 36-year-old captioned a black and white selfie showing a can’t miss baby bump.
She does not go into details of her infertility struggles. Hathaway only admits that getting pregnant was not as easy for her as it may have looked. She also doesn’t reveal how far along she is in her second pregnancy.
Based on the picture, she looks pretty far along. The Princess Diaries star is definitely in her second trimester. Pregnancy certainly agrees with the actress from the outside looking in any way. She looks gorgeous in the picture!
Shulman and Hathaway are parents to 3-year-old son Jonathan Rosebanks. They welcomed the little boy four years after getting married in a traditional Jewish ceremony in 2012.
Following the birth of her son, Hathaway admitted she gave out a lot of false answers during her pregnancy. She recalled telling people her due date was months later than it truly was, as well as saying she did not know the baby’s sex.
On The Late Late Show, a couple of months following Johnathan’s birth Hathaway deemed herself a good liar after her pregnancy. She wasn’t trying to be mean or deceptive. The actress simply wanted to maintain some privacy.
Anne Hathaway is pregnant with her second child. Her desire to keep aspects of her first pregnancy private, will no doubt play a part in her second pregnancy as well. However, she already said she is a liar, so maybe that will deter people from asking her intrusive questions.
In her baby announcement, she revealed her journey to becoming a mon was not easy. Hathaway’s admission was met with praise by other moms struggling with infertility issues.
The actress may not have said much, but her words still had a significant impact. Perhaps one day, she will share her story with the public.
