Tulsi Gabbard And Kamala Harris Get Into A Nasty Feud — Is This A Preview Of The Second Democratic Debate?

The second Democratic debate will be a fascinating one for Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) and Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA), who have been going at it via the media and are set to go at it face to face next week.

And the fiery Democrat from Hawaii is already setting up the stage for what will be an epic confrontation.

In a new interview with Fox Sports Radio’s Outkick the Coverage with Clay Travis, Gabbard bashed Harris by saying that she is not ready to be president.

Gabbard, a member of the Hawaii Army National Guard, said she that Harris is not prepared to lead the United States military.

The 2020 hopeful, who served in Iraq, said this about Harris’ lack of foreign policy experience: “I think one of the things I’m most concerned with is Kamala Harris is not qualified to serve as commander-in-chief, and I can say this from a personal perspective as a soldier. She’s got no background or experience in foreign policy, and she lacks the temperament that is necessary for a commander-in-chief.”

She went on to say: “I’ve seen the cost of war firsthand. I’ve experienced the consequences of what happens when we have presidents, as we have from both political parties in the White House, who lack experience, who lack that foreign policy understanding, who therefore fall under the influence of the foreign policy establishment, the military-industrial complex. This is what’s so dangerous. This is what we’ve seen occurring over time.”

Gabbard went on to say that it is dangerous to have a president who is not ready on day one.

She explained: “This is what is so dangerous and what we’ve seen over time.”

The communications director for the Harris campaign, Lily Adams, responded by: “Definite hard pass on taking national security advice from Assad’s cheerleader.”

This is not the first time Gabbard has criticized Harris. After the first debate, she went after Harris for more or less claiming that Joe Biden is a racist.

She shared a tweet from David Axelrod and explained: “I agree with Axelrod. But let’s get real. It wasn’t a “whole thing” — it was a false accusation that Joe Biden is a racist. “
