The Chase star Jenny Ryan, 37, was tagged in a Twitter post by a viewer who queried if she is gay.
The ITV show viewer tweeted: “Hold on, is @jenlion a lestpian? Just nosey. #thechase.”(sic)
In an unidentified tweet, someone else responded seemingly insisting Jenny isn’t gay.
The viewer replied: “Oh is she not… Awww. She is a stunner tho.”(sic)
The latter responded to another now-deleted tweet, writing: “Aww. Well, far be it from me to judge! Too much of that now I say.”
Jenny responded to the ITV viewer insisting she was confused by the tweets as only half of the conversation could be seen.
In view of her 49,000 followers, she wrote: “I have no idea what has been said about me in this conversation.”
The Twitter user replied: “Nothing bad at all Jen. Too much respect for you hun.
“We weren’t sure which way you swing due to Ian Lee trying to get you to date his mum lol.
“Hopefully you don’t take this wrong, and if you do all I can do is apologise.”(sic)
“Don’t apologise – I just can’t see half of this conversation so I don’t know what is being speculated!” Jenny replied.
Jenny went on to say she couldn’t see the other Twitter user’s responses as the account is private.
The viewer then told her the private Twitter user had said she found Jenny attractive.
Jenny tends to keep her personal life out of the public eye, but tweeted about having a boyfriend back in 2016.
She told her fans her boyfriend “is shark phobic but dog obsessed”.
Elsewhere last month, Jenny Ryan addressed a surprising drag queen comparison.
A Twitter user compared The Vixen star to drag queen Lill on Channel 4 show Drag SOS.
The tweet read: “One of those drag queens looks like her off #thechase… #dragsos.”
Jenny seemingly found the humorous side to the comparison as she retweeted the post.
She jokingly wrote back: “BUSTED… Nobody has ever seen me and Lill in the same room at the same time… #DragSOS.”
Lill replied to Jenny in the comments section to show her support for the Chaser.
She wrote: “Soul sister xxxxx I think I’m clevererer than everyone else too xxx.”(sic)
Jenny Ryan has previously shared her thoughts on MPs opposing the LGBT policy.
