According to some brand new reports, Riverdale cast members Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart are no longer romantically involved! This comes amid rumors that their relationships was crumbling!
That being said, while they may not be an item in real like anymore, the stars still portray an onscreen couple on Riverdale – Betty Cooper and Jughead Jones!
As for the speculations that they were over, they started with their appearance at Entertainment Weekly’s party at Comic-Con in San Diego, California a couple of days ago.
One eyewitness who was in attendance saw Cole arriving at the Hard Rock Hotel ‘clearly upset’ and all alone.
‘He seemed to be in a bad mood,’ the source shared with HollywoodLife.
Later on, he was also supposedly overheard telling his pals that ‘We are not in a good place right now. I really think it’s over.’
Another insider also confirmed that, while doing press for the show at Comic-Con, they were ‘separated as much as possible’ while posing for pics or during interviews.
‘I think they may have broken up,’ the source mentioned.
The rumors that they were broken up started weeks ago!
It all started when Lili’s mom, Amy, shared and then deleted an IG story of her daughter wearing a shirt that read: ‘I’d be lots [sic] without you.’
But while fans freaked out that they may have split at the time, neither one of the actors addressed the breakup rumors.
Who knows, maybe Amy Reinhart only deleted the pic because of the spelling error!
As for their love story, Lili and Cole sparked dating rumors after the first season of Riverdale in 2017.
Since Lili wore Cole’s jacket at that year’s Entertainment Weekly Comic-Con party, fans started to speculate that they were more than just good pals.

Soon after, they were seen holding hands and kissing.
