Camilla Duchess of Cornwall looks elegant in polka dots at Royal Welsh Show with Charles

Camilla Parker-Bowles raised the style stakes today, as she arrived at the Royal Welsh Show in Wales today. The Duchess could be seen wearing an elegant pale pink and white polka dot dress. The pleated number came just below her knee and she teamed it with a pair of cream court heels, which added height to her frame and showed off her legs. Opting for natural make up, the 72-year-old wore a nude lip. She kept her jewellery minimal, choosing a pair of pearl studs, which matched her dress perfectly, a gold bracelet and her wedding ring. Later on in the event, Camilla added a cream scarf to her outfit, which she draped around her neck.

She was joined by her husband Prince Charles, who looked smart in a beige suit, which he teamed with a pair of brown shoes.

The couple were attending the 100th Royal Welsh Show – which is the biggest agricultural show in the United Kingdom – at the Royal Welsh Showground.

They could be seen greeting King Goodwill of the Zulus and Queen Pumi of the Zulus, before meeting Zulu warriors.

Posing for photos, the royals looked to be having a rather enjoyable day, with Camilla seen petting horses as well.

The outing comes after Camilla celebrated her 72nd birthday.

At the time of their engagement, the Church of England was largely unsupportive of second marriages if a spouse was still living – which was the case of Camilla’s ex, Andrew Parker Bowles.

These rules threw a spanner in the works for the couple, however, to get around this, Camilla and Charles decided to do their royal wedding differently, dividing it into two parts with a civil ceremony at Windsor Guildhall, and a service at St. George’s Chapel to receive a special marital blessing.

As well as this, the couple had to change their wedding date so Prince Charles could attend the funeral of Pope John Paul II on behalf of the Queen, and on their wedding day Camilla was reportedly under the weather.
