Cameron Boyce’s mom, Libby Boyce, has broken her silence with a tribute to her boy almost two weeks after his shocking death.
In an Instagram post, Libby shared a black and white photo of her with Cameron. She only needed a few words to express how he made her feel.
“He is my compass,” she stated along with a heart emoji.
The short but sweet tribute is the first time Libby has posted on social media since Cameron passed away on July 6th. It didn’t take long for her message to be full of condolences and love for Libby.
“Love you, Libby,” wrote actor Darryl Stephens.
“Thoughts and prayers going your way,” shared Lilly.
“He changed our lives,” replied Layya Dasoo
“He is not gone. He is watching over you and wants you happy,” boop_mlem.
Days after losing their son, Libby and Cameron’s father Victor, released a statement regarding his tragic death.
“There are no words to describe how moved we are by the tremendous outpouring of love and support from our family, friends, and the world. Thank you, everyone, for encircling us with your love and respect of Cameron and concern for our family. He was the very definition of human kindness, and a light that will forever shine as his spirit lives on in all who knew and loved him. He was the rock of our family, and he always had a positive, heartwarming, insightful, and caring outlook on everything and everyone,” the loving parents revealed.
On July 15th the Boyce family launched The Cameron Boyce Foundation. Since then several celebrities, including Adam Sandler and Dove Cameron have encouraged their social media followers to donate to the Foundation.

“The Cameron Boyce Foundation provides young people artistic and creative outlets as alternatives to violence and negativity and uses resources and philanthropy for positive change in the world. The Foundation was established in 2019 to honor Cameron’s legacy,” is the message describing the Foundation on the website.
Since news of his shocking death was revealed, there has been nothing but loving tributes for Cameron Boyce. His mom, Libby Boyce only needed a few words, to sum up precisely what the 20-year-old young man meant to her. Libby’s picture is worth a million words and truly expressed her feelings.

Cameron’s father Victor and sister Maya both used social media to discuss losing the man they all loved so dearly, way too soon.
