Stacey Dooley, 32, filmed herself leaving her doctor’s this morning, having recently returned home from her glamorous getaway to France. “From showing off in the south of France to lying in docs bed with my f***y out,” she captioned the video. “IT’S CALLED BALANCE KIDS…” Kevin Clifton’s reported girlfriend explained her joke in the clip, telling her 726,000 Instagram followers she had just had her smear test.
“Gang, I have just come out from having my smear test,” she said. “Didn’t hurt, didn’t take long.
“Got myself in a tizz,” Stacey admitted. “She was an angel.”
The Strictly Come Dancing 2018 winner went on to urge her Instagram followers to stay on top of their smear tests.
“Get your smear tests done!” she said. “Just do it, just book it.”
She then concluded the video cheerfully, before suffering an unexpected mishap.
“Have a nice Saturday, bye!” she chirruped, glancing down at the ground and adding: “Just stepped in dog s**t. Brilliant.”
Smear tests are used to check the health of the cervix, using a small sample of cells to test for changes which can be monitored or treated to prevent cervical cancer.
All women and people with a cervix aged 25 to 64 should get regular cervical screenings.
Meanwhile, Stacey Dooley recently went on holiday without her reported boyfriend Kevin Clifton, 36.
The documentary filmmaker enjoyed a sun-soaked break in France with her girlfriends, while Strictly Come Dancing professional Kevin continued his stint on the Rock of Ages tour.
The Stacey Dooley Investigates… presenter shared a number of stunning snaps from her luxurious getaway, with one showing her flashing her slender pins in the sunshine.
Clad in a chic white maxi dress, she crossed one leg of the other, gazing down at the floor and accessorising with retro black sunglasses and a black bucket bag.
A second shot saw her enjoying the good weather with her pal, this time opting for a simple black summer dress and black sliders.
Stacey and Kevin first met when they were paired up on Strictly last year.
At the time, it had been approximately six months since he confirmed his split from estranged wife Karen Clifton, 36, and Stacey was in a relationship with personal trainer Sam Tucknott.
The duo went on to reach the final and lift the Glitterball trophy in December.
Months later, Stacey’s boyfriend Sam announced they had called time on their relationship and claimed she had since struck up a romance with Grimsby-born dancer Kevin.
Neither Stacey nor Kevin have confirmed or denied romance rumours.
She recently moved in to a new flat following reports she had been living with Kevin after her split from Sam.
A source told The Sun: “She lived at his place and they were totally wrapped up in one another.
“They talked about getting a place together and it was really intense. But now the honeymoon period has ended and they’re both working very hard again, she thought it best to slow things down and get a place of her own,” the insider added.
“Kevin understood and agree it was probably best for them to have their own space.”
