Ivanka Trump: The incredible story about Jared Kushner kissing father’s foot revealed

One story is about Jared’s relationship with his father, Charles Kushner, who is a real estate mogul like the Mr Trump before he became President. Charles was divisive figure, who served two years in prison after being convicted of illegal campaign contributions, tax evasion and witness tampering in 2005. The witness tampering involved setting up his brother-in-law with a sex worker, filming it and then sending the film to his sister to try and coerce her into stopping helping in a lawsuit against him.

Despite his crimes, Charles never lost the loyalty of his favourite child, Jared.

In fact, Jared defended his father, saying: “All he did was put the [blackmail] tape together and send it.

“Was it the right thing to do? At the end of the day, it was a function of saying ‘You’re trying to make my life miserable? Well I’m doing the same.’”

After Charles was released, he worked hard to rehabilitate his image and used Jared as the “sympathetic” face for Kushner Companies.

Jared was “fastidiously polite”, and would always greet his father with a hug and kiss, even in business meetings, according to 2019 book ‘Kushner Inc’.

However, there was one particular meeting when his deference to his father reportedly went to another level.

Author Vicky Ward wrote: “A story, perhaps apocryphal, that made the rounds in the New York real estate world was that during one meeting in New York, Jared walked in and, upon learning that Charlie had hurt his foot, took off his father’s sock and kissed it.”

Jared gave up his role at Kushner Companies as he started to work for his father-in-law at the White House in January 2017.

He and Ivanka are two of the most powerful people in President Trump’s administration and in the world.

Jared recently unveiled his Middle East peace plan, which focuses on economics, proposing more than $50billion (£39billion) being spent in Palestinian territories over the next decade.

Meanwhile, Ivanka has represented the US on the world stage, meeting many world leaders, including North Korea’s Kim Jong-un.

Jared and Ivanka met in 2005 through a mutual friend and got married in 2009, when Ivanka converted to Judaism.

The pair have three children aged seven, five and three.

Both were key members of the President’s campaign team back in 2016 before taking up their roles in his administration after he won the election.

President Trump has been accused of nepotism for giving his daughter and son-in-law such important roles.
