Love Island: Will Amber get back with Michael?

Love Island 2019 has had its fair share of drama so far, none more so than between Amber Gill and Michael Griffiths. Amber, 21, has made no secret of her feelings towards Michael, 27, despite him coupling up with Joanna Chimonides, 22 following the Casa Amor twist. Michael remained adamant he only had his eyes on Joanna, but now she’s left and Amber has caught the attention of new boy Greg O’Shea, 24, ITV2 viewers will see him admit his feelings for his ex once more. But will Amber get back with Michael at the next recoupling?

Will Amber get back with Michael on Love Island?

Amber and Michael’s romance looks set to be revisited in tonight’s episode (July 18).

Love Island fans will watch as Michael finally confesses his true feelings for her ahead of, what promises to be, a tense recoupling.

Michael tells Amber: “The situation that I am in now has given me time to clarify a few things in my head.

“It’s given me time to think and realise ‘I do like Amber’.

“I can only apologise about how I was over the last few weeks. I’m just letting you know that I do still like you.”

WHAT HAPPENED TO ANTON? HAS HE LEFT LOVE ISLAND?

Amber reacts with both confusion and shock by her former partner’s revelation.

The Love Island star responds: “I don’t get it. If you liked me the whole time, why would you do that?

“Would you still have done this if she [Joanna] was still here?”

Michael then responds: “Yes. I would have to have this conversation. I knew that I still liked you. I just kept denying it to myself.”

Michael’s attempts to get back with Amber are bound to anger some fans, but it’s not unlikely she could react in a positive way.

Amber tells the Beach Hut: “I actually cannot believe what is happening!

“I cannot believe Michael of all people, pushed his pride to the side and said how he really felt.”

WHO DOES LOVE ISLAND’S GREG PLAYED RUGBY FOR?

Amber then has the choice to choose to couple up with Michael or not at a recoupling.

However, pro rugby player Greg has also caught Amber’s eye after entering the villa earlier this week.

Michael will be left hoping Amber will get back with him over the newcomer, despite being the one to initially end their romance.

Amber’s choice at the recoupling is bound to be made more complicated after a saucy challenge saw her kiss both Greg and Michael.

As Greg’s single, he chooses Amber to take on the challenge with.

He kisses her on the cheek during the challenge, although Michael opts for a different approach.

CAN LOVE ISLAND STARS SMOKE IN THE VILLA?

In an attempt to woo Amber, Michael plants a kiss straight on Amber’s lips.

The bold move from Michael is bound to get Amber thinking.

However, Amber does admit in the Beach Hut she would’ve welcomed a kiss from Greg also.

Amber says: “I wouldn’t have minded if Greg had kissed me!”

With both men clearly on her mind, who will Amber choose between Michael and Greg?

Love Island continues at 9pm tonight on ITV2.
