Ivanka Trump savaged as Republican demands ‘What did you do?’ after Donald’s Omar attack

In his rally, Donald Trump labelled US Congresswoman, Ilhan Omar as having “compassion for ISIS recruits”. Following the remark, the crowd at his rally began to chant “send her back” which has received widespread criticism. Criticising Ms Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner, Meghan McCain daughter of former Republican Congressman, John, attacked the pair for not intervening.

Speaking on US programme, the View, Ms McCain said: “Ivanka and Jared, where were you when this happened?”

Since the rally, Mr Trump had insisted that he “disagreed” with the chant itself.

Moreover, the President also argued that he spoke quickly to try and quickly stop the chant and that he felt “bad” for what happened.

Speaking on a more general note about the future of Conservatism in the US, Ms McCain warned that the younger generation may not be attuned to the Republican party following events such as the chant from the rally.
