Anne Hegerty, 61, took to Twitter to reveal she was “proud” about not flashing her bra in snaps taken from ITV’s glamorous celebrity bash last night. The Chase star retweeted a series of photos taken by Crissy Rock, 60, from the event in view of her 125,000 followers. Anne could be seen posing with the actress alongside her fellow quizzers Mark Labbett, 53, and Paul Sinha, 49. She wore a glamorous silver dress for the occasion and accessorised with statement earrings.
The ITV favourite addressed her revealing outfit after host Jeremy Vine, 54, shared a selfie with her from the set.
The clip displayed Anne’s low-cut black vest top, which she paired with a sheer rose printed wrap.
Jeremy captioned the clip: “Hello @anne_hegerty @JeremyVineOn5.”
Anne’s daring look prompted a cheeky viewer to reply to the video: “Couple of bald fellas in Anne’s dress?”
Fortunately, The Governess star saw the funny side of the fan’s comment on her wardrobe.
Explaining the situation, she wrote back: “I know! It’s this bra, it really sort of serves them up!”
Elsewhere, Anne Hegerty opened up about an embarrassing lapse of common sense she experienced while filming The Chase.
The star told MailOnline she once encountered technical difficulties with a live feed from the studio, which she watches from her dressing room.
An engineer fixed the problem within one minute after they noticed the device wasn’t plugged into the wall.
Anne recalled: “Well that was embarrassing, “I must admit I didn’t check that the thing was plugged in.
“You see, I’m only clever about certain things.”
The Chase airs weekdays on ITV at 5pm.
