Dan Walker: BBC star compared to Piers Morgan as he reveals his 80-year-old face

The BBC Breakfast host posted the image to his followers on Twitter. He wrote: “Thank you for all your suggestions for who I look like as an 80-year-old.” The tweet was accompanied by the shock and laughing-crying emojis.

Dan’s followers began discussing the people he looked similar too.

One user wrote: “Looks fresher faced than a 20-year-old Gordon Ramsey (sic).”

One user tweeted: “Gordon Ramsay… after a facelift.”

Comparisons to Gordon were rife with another posting: “Deffo Gordon.”

Another bluntly wrote: “Piers Morgan.”

Others seemed to agree with two users even tagging Piers into their replies.

FaceApp was released in 2017, but it has only gone viral in recent weeks.

Several celebrities have made use of the ageing feature on Twitter and Instagram.

The app uses artificial intelligence to edit photos.

It can add smiles on to images.

One feature goes reverse and allows you to look younger.

There is also a gender swap option.

Other users suggested Dan looked like George Bush Sr or Neighbours star Alan Dale.

Dan also tweeted his delighted Welsh viewers were content with his delight at pronouncing Ffordd Pen Llech.
