Love Island: What happened on Love Island on Sunday?

ITV2 last night (Sunday, July 14) aired the most recent episode of Love Island, which saw the villa residents play a game of Snog, Marry, Pie. Curtis Pritchard also spent most of Love Island last night in a love triangle between Maura Higgins and Francesca Allen. Belle Hassan and Anton Danyluk also had a difficult night last night after Anton gave a supermarket cashier his number on Love Island on Friday.

What happened on Love Island last night?

Love Island last night saw all the villa-mates gather for a game of Snog, Marry, Pie, in which they could either share a smooch with their fellow cast mates, propose marriage or use one of the handy custard pies.

Among those who shared kisses were Maura and Curtis, Francesca and Curtis as well as Anton and Anna Vakili – the second thing Anton did to annoy Belle in the past two days.

Meanwhile, Michael got pied by Amber, Anton by Molly-Mae and Anna got a double pie-ing from Ovie Soko.

Wedding bells could be ringing soon for Curtis and Maura as well as Anton and Belle after the former choose to ‘marry’ the latter.

WHO ARE THE CURRENT LOVE ISLAND COUPLES?

After the last pie had been thrown, Belle finally got to confront Anton for kissing Anna and for giving his number to a checkout girl at the supermarket he, Tommy Fury and Jordan Hames went to on Friday.

After the pair of them had it out, Belle was still not happy with Anton, asking Joanna Chimonides: “Do I not deserve more than that?”

Anton also did not seem pleased with her, telling Curtis: “She made me look so stupid, I’m hurt, I’m not even annoyed, I’m hurt that she could do that to me.”

Anton might have had trouble making one relationship work, but if Curtis is not careful he might ruin two potential couplings.

WHEN IS THE LOVE ISLAND 2019 FINAL?

She still could not choose between Maura and Francesca, telling Ovie and Belle: “I’m trying to please everybody and you can’t do that because it’ll hurt one person.”

Ovie had some typically sage advice for him: “You’re trying to juggle two eggs. If you drop both of them, you are going to splatter them rather than just putting one down.

“You can put one down and both eggs will be fine… If you drop both of them, now you’ve got scrambled egg. You don’t want scrambled egg!

“You want to handle the situation because you don’t want that egg to harden up towards you and turn into a hard boiled.”

ARE CURTIS AND MAURA FOR REAL ON LOVE ISLAND?

Later, Anton ended up with egg on his face after trying to make it up with Belle.

As the cast mates head to the ‘Island Club’ for a night of partying, Anton refused to apologise for anything he had done over the past two days, leading to Belle saying: “That’s a problem.”

Michael Griffiths also had a problem as Amber told him: “I still do like you.”

However, this drama was soon forgotten after Caroline Flack made a surprise visit to reveal that the two least popular couples soon to be up for elimination.

Love Island airs nightly at 9pm on ITV2
