Kirstie Allsopp weight loss: How Celebrity Craft star lost two stone on this diet plan

Kirstie Allsopp is a the Hampstead-born presenter of a number of property programmes.

A mother-of-two, she is known for her property expertise and dedication to homemade crafts.

The TV presenter has lost two stone in recent years.

So, what weight loss diet plan did she follow to lose it?

Kirstie has revealed that she put on two stone between the age of 40 and 44.

Speaking to the Mail Online she revealed: “(I) decided that I was being irresponsible as a parent and a partner and it had to go.”

The presenter revealed to the Sun that her mother’s illness was a big motivation to slim down.

She was motivated to lose weight after her mum was diagnosed with breast cancer, after she was told that being overweight on your 50th birthday is a big risk factor for the illness.

Kirstie cut out alcohol, carbs and sugar to shed weight.

She told the Sun: “On a working day, I get up at 6.15am and I’m straight into my exercise kit for a workout.

“I run up hills and then walk down them. I also do the school run on my scooter. It’s brilliant.

“It’s a battle to eat healthily. When I’m working, we often have a pub lunch, and I’ll try to order a salad, but it depends what else is on offer.”

Kirstie followed the same diet plan as a number of celebrities, the Eat Nourish Glow plan by Amelia Freer.

James Corden’s weight loss was also down to the plan, advocated by Victoria Beckham.

She eats eggs with spinach and tomatoes with avocado and oatcakes from breakfast.

For lunch she has a vegetable-heavy meal and soup.

Dinner is usually a curry, again with lost of vegetables.

How did Love Island host Caroline Flack lose weight? She ditched alcohol and sugar for 12 weeks in 2016.

She told Express.co.uk at the time: “I went really hard with my detox. I probably went a little overboard because I was really strict in those 12-weeks.

“But cutting sugar made the most difference to my body. It’s the devil. It’s addictive and it’s in so many things you would’t even think of.

“Sugar is put in sauces, breads and yoghurts. It’s not always obvious but so many things are packed in sugar.”
