PS4 Surprise UPDATE: Download new FREE PlayStation game bonus

PlayStation gamers looking for new PS4 experiences have a few free choices available to them over the coming days.

There is even a surprise inclusion that wasn’t expected to be available on the PlayStation Store for some gamers.

Sony is known for adding a steady stream of new content to their digital store each month, although some of it does require a PS Plus membership.

Luckily, there are also new PS4 game experiences added which can be downloaded for free, including new choices in July.

Right now, PS4 gamers can download the new Songbird Symphony Demo, which appeared on the PlayStation Store earlier this week.

Described as a family-friendly action Rythmn title, Songbird Symphony is scheduled to launch later this month.

But before that happens, you can try this new unique game by downloading the 1GB demo.

The Pixel Art Musical Adventure published by PQube stems from an internet browser demo that is still playable online.

“A heart-warming journey of discovery, as orphaned chick ‘Birb’ sets off to find his true origins,” the official game description reads.

“Follow this cheerful little bouncing bird who revels in singing, and guide him through this magical journey of stunning pixel art and gorgeous animation that shapes itself to your musical interactions.

“In this journey of self-discovery, Birb will come across dozens of cheery denizens with joyful and bubbly animations. Fly your way across areas rendered in beautiful pixel graphics as you learn more about the tales of the forest.

“Come to the aid of the creatures of the forest to find hidden musical notes scattered across the levels. Your good deeds will release extra layers of beats that will blend harmoniously with the soundtrack, bringing further the atmosphere of the world to life.

“Learn new notes as you engage in catchy musical segments that will challenge your rhythmic skills. Join the choir and press notes in synchronization with the music to sing along.”

The new Symphony demo is a great choice for gamers looking for a new indie experience to try out this weekend and is easy to fit on your PS4 console.

And Songbird Symphony isn’t the only new demo available to download and play from the PlayStation Store.

The full version of KILL la KILL – IF is scheduled for release on July 26, 2019, but before that drops, fans can download the demo.

This was initially released last week and was thought to only be available to play for free in Europe and Japan. However, since then it has also appeared on the US PlayStation Store, making it another option to try out and play.

The trial version of the arena fighter has been confirmed as a permanent launch on the PlayStation Store, meaning it won’t be disappearing after the full release.

The new demo allows gamers to explore the first chapter of Story Mode, as well as get to grips with the Versus Mode with Ryuko Matoi, Satsuki Kiryuin, Ira Gamagoori and Uzu Sanageyama.

If neither of these new demos appeal than you can always check out some of the other recent releases on the PlayStation Store.

This includes the launch of a new Everybody’s Golf VR demo, which requires a compatible Virtual reality headset. There is also the recently launched Dragons Quest Builders 2 Demo, which costs nothing to add to your console.

The full version of the game has just been released, making this an easy way to see if the gameplay works for you. Weighing in at less than 2GB, the new RPG adventure title has an age rating of 7+, making it an excellent choice for younger gamers.

Other chunkier offerings include the free-to-play section of the PlayStation Store, with Apex Legends recently launching its second season of content. This consists of a new character to check out called Wattson, along with map changes and a new weapon to test out.
