Caroline Flack: Lose Island host weight loss achieved by cutting out this food

Caroline Flack is recognisable British celebrity.

Once famous for dating Harry Styles shortly after he won X Factor, she is now better known as the host of Love Island.

The star, born in Enfield, appears to have lost a considerable amount of weight in the past.

She showed off a slimmer figure before this season of Love Island began.

But, before this series is not the first time she has slimmed down.

She ditched alcohol and sugar for 12 weeks in 2016.

ITV presenter Caroline Flack lost weight by quitting sugar to slim down, and it worked a treat.

She told Express.co.uk at the time: “I went really hard with my detox. I probably went a little overboard because I was really strict in those 12-weeks.

“But cutting sugar made the most difference to my body. It’s the devil. It’s addictive and it’s in so many things you would’t even think of.

“Sugar is put in sauces, breads and yoghurts. It’s not always obvious but so many things are packed in sugar.”

Caroline likes to eat a hearty breakfast. She said: “Breakfast is a huge meal for me. I have eggs, avocado and bacon. I try to avoid bread or fruits and vegetables high in sugar, like tomatoes.

“But I don’t calorie count. I like to eat a lot to fuel me for a big day or a good workout.”

What does Caroline Flack do for exercise?

The presenter revealed she doesn’t let constant travelling stop her from working out.

She said: “I try to work out as often as I can. It can be a little trickier when you’re travelling but you can take the workout with you.

“Most hotels have a gym or you can do a little floor workout in your hotel room.

“For me, exercise isn’t just to look good. It really relaxes me and helps me destress.”

Another TV star, Emily Atack’s weight loss has impressed many.

The actress revealed how her changing body shaped her career and how she was cast.

She said: “My body was becoming way more womanly, and I wasn’t looking like the girl next door any more.”

She added: “I so badly want to sit here and go: ‘I love my body.’ But I can’t lie and say it doesn’t upset me when I get called fat.”

Quitting sugar often takes the form of the keto diet.

The keto diet is a very popular weight loss plan and many enjoy eating the high fat plan.

Nutritionist Hebe Mills, founder of Hebe Mills Nutrition, is an associate nutritionist.

She runs her online platform to inspire healthy and happy eating. After being diagnosed with gluten intolerance and IBS she began to revaluate how the food she ate affected her body.

The food expert gave a warning to Express.co.uk about the popular keto diet, due to the high fat content the diet espouses.
