Vodafone rivals Three Mobile with the launch of these ultimate data deals

Vodafone is rivalling Three Mobile with the launch of some new unlimited data deals.

Offering customers the option to have limitless access to the web has been Three’s biggest selling point with very few networks offering such a service.

But, with Vodafone now launching 5G, it seems they also want to allow users unlimited downloads.

The new data plans for both 5G and 4G launched earlier this week and include 5G-ready SIM Only plans from just £23, 4G handset plans from £32 per month (no upfront cost) and the new 5G flagship devices from £56 per month (£29 upfront cost).

If it’s a SIM-only deal you are after then Vodafone has three options available right now.

These include Vodafone Unlimited Max which offers unlimited mobile access at speeds as fast as the device and the network will allow and costs £30 per months.

There’s also Vodafone Unlimited which offers speeds of up to 10 Mbps and will set you back £26 per month.

Finally, there’s the basic Vodafone Unlimited Lite which, at 2Mbps, is much slower but costs £23 per month.

Although this is good news for Vodafone fans it’s worth noting that Three currently has a very good deal on its unlimited SIM.

The network is offering a 24-month plan for £22 per month but customers signing up will only pay £11 for the first six months of the deal.

Three has also confirmed that it will officially launch 5G next month with the company boasting that, at launch, its technology will be at least two times faster than any other UK provider.

In fact, Three is convinced it will be the only network that can offer a ‘true’ 5G experience.

The firm has revealed a £2 billion infrastructure investment which includes the acquisition of the UK’s leading 5G spectrum portfolio, a world first cloud core network from Nokia, and a super high-capacity smart antenna network.

Three will begin by pushing its 5G signal straight into homes in a bid to shake up the fixed-line broadband market.

Along with being much faster than most current fixed-line options, Three says that its 5G wireless home broadband is estimated to save people £240 per year as there won’t be any need to have a phone line or expensive installation.

The full list of cities which Three will begin rolling out 5G are as follows,

London, Birmingham, Bolton, Bradford, Brighton, Bristol, Cardiff, Coventry, Derby, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Hull, Leeds, Leicester, Liverpool, Manchester, Middlesbrough,Milton Keynes, Nottingham, Reading, Rotherham, Sheffield, Slough, Sunderland, Wolverhampton.
