James Bond 25: Daniel Craig's 007 suited-up and cooler than ever in latest filming photos

Daniel Craig – playing James Bond for the final time – looked to be on great form in London today as production continued.

Bond 25 – still without a title – had a rocky start; with an ankle injury disrupting schedules, and Phoebe Waller-Bridge being drafted in last-minute to touch-up the script.

Going back further, the movie had been disrupted by multiple release date delays and a change of director when Danny Boyle was replaced by Cary Joji Fukunaga.

But now that Craig’s ankle injury seems to be very much on the mend, he looked to be in good spirits today as he joined Fukunaga and his cast-mates on location in the capital.

Ralph Fiennes, reprising the role of M for the third time, was spotted alongside him; as was Rory Kinnear – back as Bill Tanner.

Fukunaga recently used Instagram to hit back against claims the movie was recently disturbed further by his own lateness.

“There’s not a minute on this job that isn’t scheduled, and even during a shoot day, in the hours before call, between takes and setups, and after we wrap there’s always a line of dedicated and hard working department heads hungry to prep our next sequences, no one sleeps on this kind of job,” he wrote.

“So sure it’s hard, but it’s still the best job in the world and I’d never disrespect the hardest working cast and crew.

“We’re all in this together.”

Of reports that his lateness was due to videogames, he quipped: “As for my PS4 relationship, if my RDR2 progress is any indication, it’s been stunted at 63% for months and if anyone spoils the end for me before I wrap on B25 I’m going to be p****d.”

Earlier this month he also shared a photograph of himself and the AD, Jon Mallard, figuring out the scheduling.

“Working out the puzzle of ‘order of shooting’ with 1st AD Jon Mallard,” he captioned it.

“AD’s make everything work, absolutely everything, and also get the flack when things don’t go as expected.

“All the guts and rarely glory. Jon’s done True Detective, Beasts Of No Nation, and Maniac with me, all of which were doozies, thanks Jon.”

When Craig is done with Bond, Richard Madden is currently the favourite to take over.

Bond 25 is out on April 8, 2020.
