Was Sarah Ferguson at Archie’s christening? Duchess dressed up at church in new pictures

Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, often fondly referred to as Fergie, has an interesting relationship with the Royal Family.

She married into it in 1986 when she wed Prince Andrew at Westminster Abbey.

They couple went to to have two children, Princess Beatrice, 30, and Princess Eugenie, 29, before divorcing in 1996.

Since, Fergie has rarely attended official royal events.

However, she was invited to Prince Harry, 34, and Meghan Markle’s wedding.

She then attended Lady Gabriella Windsor’s wedding in May this year with her ex.

So, was she invited to Archie Harrison’s christening? The Duchess of York wasn’t there – but you might be confused for thinking she was.

Sarah was pictured in a church on July 6, the day of the christening, but it wasn’t for the christening.

Sarah attended an event for The Good Load, a bread company.

They tweeted from their account: “Wonderful surprise to have The Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, pop in to see us. Wow just wow.”

Sarah wore a bottle green dress, which fell to just below her knee. The dress had a keyhole detail in the chest.

She added a black jacket to the look, and a gold necklace around her neck.

On her head she wore a feather fascinator with pink and green plumes.

Quirky green slippers with a zebra on the toe were worn on the Duchess’s feet.

The Good Laod is, according to its Twitter account “an artisan bakery and community cafe.” It claims it is: “Providing top quality real bread plus training and employment opportunities for female ex-offenders.”

The cafe is in Northampton, and Sarah was unlikely to have made it to any family gathering for the christening.

Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew remarriage rumours are often circulating.

On her Instagram account recently one said they are hoping Sarah and her ex husband Prince Andrew will remarry.

They wrote: “This American is still waiting for the prince and princess to remarry. Y’all are perfect for each other.”

Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew have sparked remarriage rumours frequently in recent months.

This came especially after they attended Royal Ascot 2019 together and Lady Gabriella Windsor’s wedding together.
