Gemma Atkinson baby: Gorka Marquez’s beau speaks out on NOT posting pictures of daughter

Gemma Atkinson, 34, and Gorka Marquez, 28, became first-time parents last week, as they welcomed a little girl into the world.

Almost a week after their daughter’s birth, the couple, who met on Strictly Come Dancing, have yet to share any snaps of her.

Gemma has now revealed the reason why she hasn’t posted any pictures, insisting they haven’t got a magazine deal.

“To people asking why we haven’t posted any pictures,” she wrote on her Instagram stories.

“No, we haven’t done a magazine deal,” she cleared up.

Gemma added they want the important people in their lives to get a chance to meet their daughter, before the rest of the world.

She continued: “We just want all our family and friends to come over and meet her first, that’s all.”

“It’s important for me that they all get a hold and a cuddle first.”

Yesterday, the former Hollyoaks and Ememrdale actress updated her fans on motherhood.

Gemma said she is “getting to grips” with being a mum and is loving being with her little one.

She shared on Instagram: “Thank you all for your lovely messages. Our daughter is so wonderful. I’m slowly getting to grips with motherhood.

“Learning loads and I’m loving being in this little cocoon with her.I feel extremely lucky to be on this journey with mine and Gorks little human.”

The thing that appeared to have surprised Gemma the most, was the size of her assets, now she’s breastfeeding.

Gemma made an hilarious admission with her followers as she said she “didn’t think they could get bigger”.

She added in a follow-up post: “P.S Didn’t think my chebs could get any bigger… I was wrong… She defo ain’t going hungry!”

Gemma added laughing emojis to her snap, along with two watermelon images.

The fitness star and Gorka, who announced they were in a relationship on Valentines’s Day last year, revealed their baby gave them a “fright” when she was born last week.

Announcing their daughter’s birth on Instagram, Gemma wrote: “And just like that, we’re a three! Our beautiful baby daughter arrived on Thursday 4th July and myself and Gorks couldn’t be happier.

“Shes incredible and she certainly made an entrance, giving us all quite a fright at times! Little Miss independent already!”

Gemma continued: “Thank you SO much to the nurses & doctors at The Royal Bolton Hospital who did the most incredible job taking care of myself and my baby.

“You’re all so wonderful and I’m so grateful to have had you all with me and to have been under your care these past 4 days.”
