Queen Letizia of Spain demands attention in hot pink dress and killer heels in Almago

Queen Letizia of Spain dressed for summer in a bright dress as she stepped out today. The royal was spotted heading to the meeting of the Council of the Royal Board on Disability. For the occasion, Letizia opted for a sleeveless fit and flare dress which cut off just below the knee. While there, she will also present the ‘Reina Letizia 2019 Award’.

Letizia opted for a high-neck dress which had a fitted top and flared out into a full skirt.

The block colour design had a row of small pink buttons which went down the top of the dress.

It was pulled in at the waist before continuing onto a skirt which had large pleats.

The design cut off just below the knee and Letizia kept her legs bare.

To complete the look, she opted for a pair of pastel pink stiletto high heels.

The shoes had an open back and a clear plastic strap across the front.

In one hand, Letizia held onto a pale pink leather clutch bag.

She wore a stunning pair of drop earrings which had pink and emerald jewels.

The Spanish royal matched her make-up to her outfit with pink eyeshadow and lashings of mascara.

Letizia finished her make-up with a slick of pink lipgloss.

She wore her hair down and styled into a bouncy blow-dry.

Last week, the stylish royal re-wore a coral design to attend a seminar at the International Centre of the Spanish Language. 

The bold dress had large flute sleeves and was pulled in at the waist by a tie belt.

Recently, wore a stunning head-to-toe white design at a Madrid Rugby match.

The ensemble had a white jacket and matching cigarette trousers.

Career

Letizia was already famous in her native Spain thanks to a career as a TV presenter and journalist.

She even won an award for best Spanish journalist under 30 in 2002, just before she met King Felipe.

Wedding

Felipe and Letizia Ortiz, as she was called then, wed in 2004.

She wore a long-sleeved wedding dress with a 15 foot train by Manuel Pertegaz.

As is custom with royal weddings, Letizia wore a tiara. Her diamond and platinum Prussian tiara is a German imperial heirloom created in 1913 by Koch for Princess Victoria Louise of Prussia’s wedding to Prince Ernst August.

Family

Letizia is the eldest of three daughters, with her middle sister tragically taking her own life in 2007.

Now, Letizia has two daughters, Leonor, Princess of Asturias and Infanta Sofia of Spain. She is a hands on mum, taking the children to school and enjoying countless family holidays with them.

Divorce

Letizia has been married before, wedding Alfonso Guerrero, a teacher, in 1998.

However she did not require an annulment before her roman-catholic marriage to then Prince Felipe in 2004 as her marriage to Guerrero was a civil ceremony.

Plastic surgery

In 2008, Letizia underwent surgery on her nose to correct a respiratory problem, the Spanish palace confirmed at the time.
