Inside the night Kate Middleton won a ‘pleading’ Prince William back dressed as a nurse

Kate Middleton and Prince William met at St Andrew’s University, where they were in the same year.

They lived together in second year, and this is thought to be when the relationship developed.

However, after six years of romance the couple split, both aged 25.

William called time of the relationship with Kate in April, but was attempting to win her back in May.

According to the author of Kate: The Future Queen, William persuaded Kate to meet with him in a pub. He told her that he hoped to get back together, but Kate wasn’t sure.

The author wrote: “Kate didn’t want to rush anything. She had been badly hurt and told William she needed some time.”

While the future-Duchess was thinking things over, William invited her to a party.

However, this gathering had a rather risque theme.

The party, held in June at his army barracks in Dorset, had a “Freakin’ Naughty-theme” and was fancy dress.

Kate attended “dressed as a nurse – a rather sexy one in fishnet tights and a short dress.”

At the event William “followed her around like a lost puppy” and this is thought to be the night the couple got back together.

Kate Middleton at Archie’s christening caught the attention on many fans.

The Duchess of Sussex beamed in a pale pink gown, with a pussy bow tie neckline and a waistband which showed off her stunning figure.

Users were quick to single out Kate’s stylish look, and one put: “Catherine stunning as always.”

A second added: “Kate looks so Elegant as always.”

A third continued: “Kate looks amazing,” before one agreed, and replied: “She does, she has really hit her stride.”

One then rounded off: “Lovely pic … great to see one of the family.

“Kate looks amazing, every inch our future Queen.”

Are Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle ‘feuding’?

Body language expert Judi James analysed the photo and she told Express.co.uk there could well be some tension between the couples, depending on how viewers choose to look at the portrait.

She explained: “There are two ways of reading these christening poses and what clues they might give about the ‘feud’ rumours between the brothers. One interesting point is how odd William’s pose is here, rather like the even odder pose the was chosen from Harry’s wedding photos. In that one William looked almost furtive on the stairs behind Harry and here he looks something like a nightclub bouncer.”

How did Kate Middleton become a royal?

Early life

Kate Middleton, or Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, was born on 9 January 1982 at the Royal Berkshire Hospital, Reading, England.

She was born to Michael and Carole Middleton, a former flight dispatcher and air hostess. The couple founded a party supplies company, Party Pieces, in 1987 – now estimated to be worth £30 million.

Kate has a younger sister Pippa Matthews, 34, and a younger brother James Middleton, 31.

Education

Kate and her family moved to Amman, Jordan, in 1984, where the future Duchess was educated at an English-speaking nursery school.

After moving back to Berkshire the family sent Kate to private school, St Andrews School. She went on to briefly study at Downe House before moving onto Marlborough College where she boarded.

For university the young Kate attended the University of St Andrews in Fife, Scotland. Here she was awarded an undergraduate MA (2:1 Hons) in history of art.

Relationship with Prince William

Kate met Prince William when they were both studying at St Andrews, and both living in St Salvator’s Hall. Famously, William reportedly took a fancy to Kate after she wore a see-through dress during a fashion show.

In 2003 the couple began dating and lived together during their second year of university.

The couple split in April 2007, however, in October they were back together.

Wedding

Prince William proposed to Kate Middleton with his late mother Princess Diana’s engagement ring in October 2010. The couple were holidaying in Kenya at the time.

On 29 April 2011 they married at Westminster Abbey with a whopping 26 million watching the event live.

Kate wore an Alexander McQueen dress worth a reported £250,000 on the big day.

Kate assumed the title “Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge” and also become the Duchess of Cambridge on the day.
