Kleberson has backed Dani Alves to join Liverpool and insists he would fit in under Jurgen Klopp.

Alves is a free agent after leaving PSG and is looking for a club.

And former Brazil ace Kleberson reckons he would be a good fit at Liverpool.

09.40 UPDATE: Pogba wants Champions League move

Paul Pogba wants to join a Champions League club after Manchester United finished fifth and only qualified for the Europa League.

Pogba looks set to leave for Real Madrid after his agent confirmed he was working on a move for him.

Kaveh Solhekol said on Sky Sports: “Paul Pogba thinks he should be playing in the Champions League, somewhere like Barcelona or Real Madrid, instead of swanning it in Europa League.

“He wants his agent to sort that move out for him.”

09.10 UPDATE: United want £140m for Pogba

Manchester United are willing to sell Paul Pogba for around £140m, according to the Daily Star.

And United want most of that fee paid up front. Real Madrid and Juventus have been linked with Pogba.

Yesterday Mino Raiola confirmed he was working on a deal for Pogba to leave Manchester United.

And now United are trying to get as much as possible for their asset.

08.45 UPDATE: De Ligt update

Frenkie De Jong wants Matthijs de Ligt to join him at Barcelona.

De Ligt has been linked with Barcelona and Manchester United, but is believed to be close to signing for Juventus.

But De Jong would like him at the Nou Camp.

“I’d like to see him [De Ligt] here, but I cannot decide,” he said at his unveiling.

“He has to make that decision with his family. When I saw Barca wanted me to play here, the decision was very easy.”

08.30 UPDATE: Toni Duggan leaves Barcelona

Toni Duggan has left Barcelona after two seasons in Spain.

The England striker is yet to confirm her next move, but the 27-year-old could head back to the WSL.

Duggan said: “It was a dream come true to wear the famous colours of FC Barcelona. To represent one of the biggest and most special clubs in the world has been a huge honour – but I feel the time is right for me to pursue a new challenge.

“Together with my teammates and, of course, the wonderful supporters, I was able to win two trophies and enjoy many other memorable moments. A great many people have helped me over the last two years and I want to thank them all – you will always be in my heart.

08.15 UPDATE: Zaha drops transfer hint

Wilfried Zaha was quizzed on his future while on international duty and said ‘we’ll see in the future’ when asked about joining Arsenal.

“I have no comment on it [Arsenal’s bid],” Zaha told On Sport.

“The only thing that’s on my mind right now is trying to win this cup [Africa Cup of Nations].

When he was pushed on whether he’d like to play for Arsenal, he said: “I don’t know. We’ll see in the future.”

08.00 UPDATE: Pogba working on Manchester United exit

Paul Pogba and his agent Mino Raiola are working on getting out of Manchester United.

Raiola revealed his plans to move Pogba on last night in a hammer blow to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Raiola told The Times: “Everyone knows the willingness of Paul to move on. We are in the process of that.

“Everyone knows what the feelings of Paul are.

“Everyone within the club, from the manager to the owner, knows Paul’s wishes.”

07.45 UPDATE: Longstaff to cost £50m!

Manchester United are hoping to sign Sean Longstaff this week, but Sky Sports claim Newcastle are refusing to sell for less than £50m.

United want Longstaff to be their third signing after sealing deals for Daniel James and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Longstaff impressed for Newcastle last term in his breakthrough year at the club.

United were hoping to land the midfielder for around £20m, but Sky are now saying Newcastle want more than double that.

07.30 UPDATE: Ozil closing in on Fenerbahce switch

Arsenal are hoping to get rid of Mesut Ozil this summer as Unai Emery looks to overhaul his squad.

Ozil struggled last term under Emery and was a bit-part player.

And Turkish journalist Fatih Dogan claimed he could head to Fenerbahce, he said: “Fenerbahce president Ali Koc is working very hard to sign him.

“For his wages and loan fee, the club are trying to find the sponsors. They are working on it.

“I think it’s going very well. Right now, I can say the possibility is 50-51% positive.”

07.15 UPDATE: Tottenham’s new record bid

Tottenham could break their transfer record for a second time this summer as they look to complete the signing Giovani Lo Celso.

Football Insider report that a deal is close that will cost the club in the region of £100m with a £60m fee and wages of around £150,000 a week.

Tottenham smashed their transfer record earlier this week when they signed Tanguy Ndombele from Lyon for £53.8m.

And the fee for Lo Celso would overtake that as Daniel Levy starts to loosen the purse strings in north London.
