How Holly Willoughby spent almost £50,000 in a year on her This Morning wardrobe

When it comes to fashion, Holly Willoughby never fails to show up to This Morning in a glamorous outfit. Monday to Thursday, the mum-of-three – to Harry, 10, Belle, eight, and Chester, four – leads the style, as she dresses up in yet another outfit fans just can’t wait to get their hands on. From high street to designer, Holly’s wardrobe includes cheaper buys from stores such as Mango, H&M, Next and her own M&S range, as well as brands such as Ganni and Gianvito Rossi – whose shoes range from £300 to £1000.

The blonde beauty updates her fans with her outfits on a daily basis, sharing a picture to her Instagram account with the shops often tagged.

So how much has she spent on her wardrobe for the show in the past year?

Express.co.uk calculated how much Holly has spent on her wardrobe for the daytime show in the last month, and fans will be surprised to know that over the year the clothes costs have come to almost £50,000.

Last month, Holly spent roughly £4,000 on her This Morning outfits alone. While some of her looks came in at just under £150, others were pretty pricey with single items costing over £500.

Perhaps one of the highest priced items in Holly’s This Morning wardrobe are her favourite Gianvito Rossi nude court heels, which cost £510.

The presenter tends to wear these with many of her outfits, with the light shade easily matched to other colours.

Last month, Holly teamed these heels with a pink jumper, costing £25.99 from Spanish retailer Mango, and a pink leopard print skirt from Label Mix.

The presenter appeared to be taking inspiration from fellow ITV presenter Christine Lampard, who was previously seen wearing the same animal print skirt.

Holly took to Instagram before the award-winning show began to showcase her outfit to her 5.4 million followers.

Many of her followers commented expressing their love of the skirt and demanded to know when it would be out. Label Mix – whose items range from £50 – £150 – have since posted on their own Instagram announcing the skirt will be available in a few weeks.

Following the arrival of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s baby Archie last month, Holly dressed to impressed. The blonde beauty turned up to work in a fitting royal blue shirt dress, worth £300. The dress, which is from designer Ganni, featured an asymmetric hem that showed off Holly’s toned legs.

Taking to Instagram, Holly told her followers: “Happy Tuesday… Congratulations @sussexroyal on the arrival of your baby boy… what wonderful news. Enjoy these first precious moments, there is nothing quite like it…”

Another one of Holly’s stunning looks from This Morning saw the presenter dressed in all white.

Rocking a white pleat skirt from H&M, Holly looked effortlessly chic as she wowed viewers with the £29.99 price tag. She teamed the chiffon skirt with a £119 cashmere jumper from Spanish High Street label Massimo Dutti, and completed the look with a pair of woven heels from Zara that retail for £49.99.

The classic combination of pleated skirt and plain jumper quickly racked up over 40,000 likes on Instagram.

Famous friends such as Gok Wan and Holly’s stylist Angie Smith both commented, expressing their love of the outfit.

Angie Smith – who also styles fellow This Morning presenter Rochelle Humes – has been credited with transforming Holly’s presenting wardrobe.

Recently Holly went bold with a bright yellow co-ord.

The matching top and skirt from Sandro Paris came in at a high price, with the top costing £145 and the skirt coming in at £209.

She teamed the look with her Gianvito Rossi heels, making this one of her most expensive looks on the show with a total cost of £864.

Posting a preview on Instagram to her 5.5 million followers, one complimented her by commenting “lovely as always”.
