Chris was speaking to Rachel about how she met her partner, Alex at university. The 53-year-old said it will be the pair’s fault if their children fail to get in. His co-star said Rachel went to Cambridge University.
“So, if their kids fail their entrance exam, it’s mum and dad’s fault.”
Rachel quickly interjected: “No pressure on anybody.”
Chris said: “No pressure whatsoever children. God bless them.”
Rachel went on to read at the travel news but stumbled over the word Saxelbye.
Chris then joked: “Are you sure you went to Cambridge?”
Rachel replied: “Yes” before continuing with the news.
The blunder comes after Chris spoke about being abandoned by his co-stars.
He told listeners it’s “quite ridiculous” he never sees his co-hosts.
Chris said: “Ellie’s not here, she never comes in anymore.
“Her and Rachel. It’s quite ridiculous really.”
Kirsty said they have “abandoned” him.
