AJ Pritchard addresses Curtis Pritchard’s ‘little black book’ amid Love Island 2019 split

Speaking to the latest issue of OK! Magazine, AJ and his and Curtis’ mother Debi opened up about him on the subject of advice.

When asked if he turned to him for help, he commented: “I don’t ask him for advice, but some friends do turn to him.

“He has a little black book that he carries around so he can jot down inspirational quotes when they come to him.”

On if Curtis asked him for advice about coping with life in the public eye, he said it really wasn’t needed.

AJ continued: “The good thing about Curtis is he’s very confident and secure in himself, so he doesn’t waste his energy on any negative comments.”

The new interview came weeks before the Love Island hopeful ran into trouble with Amy, after coupling up pretty much from day one.

Curtis appeared to have a change of heart when a new group of girls entered while the original females were sent to Casa Amor.

Amy was seen breaking down after discovering the truth despite him recoupling with her afterwards.

Meanwhile, AJ and Debi went on to discuss the attack he and Curtis suffered back in December.

He stated: “When I watch TV shows with violence, it brings back the memories. I still question why it happened.

“Talking about it does help but it’s topped me wanting to go out as much as I used to.”

Debi went on: “Curtis protected AJ that night. He stood in front of him because he immediately thought of AJ’s legs and his role on Strictly.

“He put himself on the line for another human being. That just shows what a great guy he is.”

AJ then said: “We came together as a family even more so after that.”

His mother added: “It helped AJ and Curtis to see just how strong their bond is.”
