Susan Boyle now: I Dreamed a Dream hitmaker reveals big change 'Touch wood'

During a recent appearance on Lorraine, Susan Boyle, 58, spoke about some changes she had made. “Unbelievably you’re going to be 60 soon, as am I,” Lorraine Kelly, 59, began. “I’ve got a bucket list, have you got things that you want to do to celebrate that milestone?” Pausing for a split second, Susan revealed: “I’ve just got my provisional license.

On the subject of how her driving progress was going, she continued: “I’ve had a couple of lessons.

“So far…” she tailed off, glancing around. “Touch wood, everything’s okay.

“I’ve got myself a bike as well,” Susan added.

Looking shocked, Lorraine interjected: “Have you? What, a motorbike?”

The I Dreamed a Dream singer then assured the presenter it was just a push bike, not a motorcycle.

Susan Boyle also opened up on her love life as she made a cheeky revelation about Piers Morgan, 54.

Having previously admitted to having a crush on the Good Morning Britain host, Susan revealed she still holds a candle for him.

“His wife might not like this,” she quipped. “I still like him a bit.

“I’ve grown up a bit,” she continued.

Lorraine then joked she and Susan would never be found fighting over men, saying: “You can have Piers, he’s yours, should you so wish.”

Laughing, the opera star covered her face in embarrassment.

“I don’t know what to say,” she giggled. “For once, I’m lost for words!”

Susan became a household name following her first audition for Britain’s Got Talent back in 2009.

When she took to the stage, she blew the judges and audience away with her rendition of I Dreamed a Dream from Les Miserables.

Despite achieving worldwide success, she took a step back from the spotlight in recent years after being diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome.

The same year, in 2013, Susan was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes.

In recent months, she has returned to the limelight, taking part in America’s Got Talent: The Champions and releasing her latest album, Ten, marking 10 years since Britain’s Got Talent propelled her to fame.
