Iran savages ‘weird’ Trump for his ‘errors’ and ‘mistakes’ in brazen attack on US

The US President was attacked on Tuesday for his series of “errors” which Tehran has insisted has led to the problems the states now face. Speaking in the Iranian Parliament, Ali Larijani referred to Trump’s mistakes while labelling the US President as “weird”. The brazen attack on Trump came as the Islamic Republic commemorated the 1988 downing of an Iranian passenger plane by the US Navy on Tuesday.

Moreover, Mr Larijani also accused US leaders of being “a bunch of gangsters that believe they can silence the others by howling in the global arena” as reported by Iran’s Tasnim News Agency.

Despite the fiery comments from the Iranian official, he did also insist that Iran is not looking to go to war with the US.

He added: “Trump needs to know that as long as he speaks the language of coercion with a civilised nation, they will only grow closer and more unified.

“If the US just gets this, many of their problems will be solved.

“Iran has announced that it does not seek nuclear weapons.”

The Iranian official’s comments come as tensions between the two countries have come close to breaking point.

On Monday, Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) confirmed that the country had surpassed its limit of low-enriched uranium.

That means that the country has now exceeded the limit set under the 2015 nuclear deal which the US withdrew from earlier this year.

Iran has stepped up production following threats of sanction on the country from the US.

Another flashpoint also occurred between the two countries after Iran shot down a US drone which the state accused of intruding its airspace.

In lieu of that strike and accusations that Iran had launched two separate attacks on oil tankers in the Gulf of Oman, Trump revealed that he had come close to issuing an attack on the country.

However, Trump called off the strike after being informed of the potential casualties that would be caused.
