Honey Mitchell (played by Emma Barton) is blissfully unaware her partner Adam Bateman (Stephen Rahman-Hughes) is having secret trysts with EastEnders newcomer, Habiba Ahmed (Rukku Nahar).
The Minute Mart shopkeeper has been warned about a possible fling between Adam and Habiba by her ex Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) but Honey dismissed the claims, believing the father of her children was jealous of her relationship with the dentist.
Last night’s double bill of the BBC soap saw Adam learn his flat, which he recently rented from Jack Branning (Scott Maslen), was up for sale with Honey telling the landlord they would consider buying the property.
With Honey clearly committed to the relationship, Adam looked hesitant to show any enthusiasm in buying the flat and with his doubts lingering, next week’s episodes could see his affair rumbled.
Noticing their granddaughter Habiba is on the look out for a man, not realising their former foster son is sleeping with her, Mariam (Indira Joshi) and her husband Arshad Ahmed (Madhav Sharma) have been trying to find her a suitor.
Next week, Habiba will meet with one of the potential husbands her grandparents have lined up for her, but when the meeting takes a turn for the worse, Adam admits he was jealous of seeing Habiba moving on.
Although Adam has told his young lover he would leave Honey once before, the dentist reiterates his promise again.
Whilst Adam’s attentions are focussed on Habiba, Honey talks with Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) about her relationship with the dentist and starts to think he may be about to propose to her.
With Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) planning her wedding to Callum Highway (Tony Clay), Honey can’t help but join the bride-to-be in discussion her upcoming nuptials.
Honey suddenly realises the keys to the Minute Mart are missing and heads home to get Adam so he can help her with her search.

Unbeknown to the Walford gossip, her partner is in bed with his young lover and spoilers have revealed Honey will get a shock, but has she rumbled the affair?
Possibly hearing Honey come through the door, Adam could panic and going to speak with his partner as Habiba hides, the dentist could pop the question.
However, if he does ask for Honey’s hand in marriage instead of her finding out about the affair, will Adam live to regret his rash decision?
Riled with jealousy after overhearing the proposal, could Habiba walk out and expose Adam as a love rat in the heat of the moment?
The big reveal over the love triangle was teased in the recent summer trailer for the BBC soap, showing highlights of what drama is set to unravel on the Square in the coming weeks.
Honey is seen asking Adam: “Are you and Habiba having an affair?” with the lothario looking more guilty than ever.

Elsewhere in Walford, Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) made a shocking discovery of her own at the end of last night’s double bill.
The infamous Slater icon had told partner Kush Kazemi (Davood Ghadami) she would hep him fund his legal case against her cousin Stacey Fowler (Lacey Turner) over the custody of his young son Arthur.
