Davina McCall, 51, and her husband, Matthew Robertson, split after 17 years back in 2017.

The former couple share three children together – Holly, 16, Tilly, 14, and Chester, 11.

The fitness inspiration has now opened up about sharing family responsibilities with her ex-husband and revealed they both pitch in.

“Matthew is quite hands on, so I have support from him,” Davina told this month’s Good Housekeeping.

“We share the school runs in the morning, which is really nice.”

However, Davina admitted looking after her three children on her own is “full on”.

“I won’t deny it feels quite full on when I’m on my own though,” she spilled.

Davina added: “Now that Tilly’s nearly 16, I can go out and leave her and Chester at home for the evening, which has made quite a difference. I’m finding my new normal.”

The TV presenter, who is now reported to be dating her longtime hairdresser friend, Michael Douglas, also admitted she’s feeling a lot more at “peace” with herself now.

Speaking about being in a good place, she divulged: “My 50s are a banger of a decade! Every age has a different set of hurdles to get over, but I’ve calmed down a bit and I’m feeling a lot more at peace with myself.

“It’s a kind of self-acceptance, warts and all.”

Meanwhile, Davina has been spotted out and about with her reported boyfriend, celebrity hairdresser Michael, 45, on a number of occasions recently.

The rumoured couple are said to have been friends for more than 20 years.

Michael has previously worked with TV stars Rochelle Humes, Dawn French and Holly Willoughby, who stars in the Garnier hair campaigns with Davina.

A source recently told The Sun: “The romance blossomed from a place of friendship and trust and the couple are just enjoying each other’s company and having a laugh.

“Davina especially likes Michael’s sense of humour and kind nature. It’s still fairly early days but Davina’s mates think Michael is a good guy.”

The star announced her separation from husband Matthew in November 2017.

In a statement at the time, she told the Daily Mail: “I am very sad to say that Matthew and I have separated.

“Our amazing children are our number one priority, above everything else so therefore we ask for as much space and respect from the media as possible while our family goes through this difficult time.”
