Dan Walker: 'Turning into Piers Morgan' BBC presenter attacked on Twitter following show

Following the show, one Twitter user accused the BBC man of being “dismissive” of a cat which even his co-presenter picked up on. In his usual style, Dan responded to the man which as a result, descended into a Twitter spat. In response, Dan insisted that his response had been a “relevant question” but also revealed that he was a happy “the cat is safe”.

Finishing the tweet, Dan thanked the user for watching the programme which unfortunately for the BBC man drew the anger of another one of his many followers.

Attacking Dan, the user replied saying: “A sarcastic ‘thanks for watching’ you’re turning into Piers Morgan.

“You might as well have said ‘thanks for paying my wages, license payer’.

“Stay humble, Dan.”
