Transfer news LIVE: Man Utd's third signing, Neymar to Barcelona, Liverpool Asensio deal

07.45 UPDATE: Inter prepare £75m Lukaku bid

Inter Milan will test Manchester United’s resolve for Romelu Lukaku this week with a £75m bid.

New Inter boss Antonio Conte wants the striker to lead his new look attack and will offer Mauro Icardi in exchange to sweeten the deal.

It remains uncertain if United are keen on Icardi but Lukaku found himself out of the United side towards the end of last season.

And he has previously admitted to be being interested in a move to Italy.

07.25 UPDATE: Arsenal to miss out on defender

Arsenal are set to miss out on Torino defender Armando Izzo as the Serie A club look to block the move.

Unai Emery is believed to be a big fan of Izzo, 27, who has won one international cap and would like to see him in north London this summer.

Izzo who started his career with his home town club Napoli was a huge reason why Torino qualified for the Europa League.

Emery had Izzo watched a number of times last season and was weighing up making an offer as he looks to rebuild his defence this summer.

But Torino are ready to turn down any offers they receive for Izzo who has also been tracked by Everton and will offer him a new deal.

07.15 UPDATE: Real Madrid want Mane in swap deal

Real Madrid are preparing to offer Liverpool the opportunity to sign Spanish hotshot Marco Asensio – but Zinedine Zidane wants Sadio Mane in return.

Liverpool were linked with Asensio last summer and Klopp is believed to still be a fan, but he would be loathed to lose Sadio Mane.

Madrid though have identified Mane as an option as part of their summer rebuild which has already seen them sign Eden Hazard and Luka Jovic.

Zidane however is looking to clear out a number of players and build a completely new look team.

07.00 UPDATE: Manchester United on to the next one

Ed Woodward has moved on to securing his third summer signing for Manchester United after completing a deal for Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

The Manchester United chief sent an internal email round to club staff after the £50m deal went through and revealed they were working on more targets.

It read: “Despite the inflated nature of the transfer market and constant speculation and stories, which can be misleading, the recruitment team – in conjunction with the manager [Ole Gunnar Solskjaer] – are working calmly behind the scenes to bring in other exciting players that fit their long-term vision for the club.”

United are keen to sign centre-back, a midfielder and another forward.

06.45 UPDATE: Neymar to Barcelona

Barcelona could swap Philippe Coutinho with Neymar this summer.

Neymar is desperate to return to Barcelona after growing bored with life in France, and Tim Vickery reckons Coutinho is the obvious player to swap in any deal.

“If this is going to happen, it is going to take some work there with the financial architecture with players going the other way,” Vickery told Sky Sports News.

“The obvious candidate to go the other way would be the former Liverpool man Philippe Coutinho.”
