Opting for a more natural look, Meghan kept her make-up light with a nude lip. She wore her brunette locks in a soft wave.

Meanwhile, Harry was dressed down, proudly wearing his Invictus Games Polo Shirt.

Red Sox’s Mookie Betts reportedly told the Duchess that they are distant relatives. According to The Boston Globe, their ancestors are from the same part of Alabama.

Mookie began telling Meghan about his family, saying: “My great, great, great….” before the Duchess broke in jokingly, adding: “Great, great, great…”

Mookie then laughed: “We’re family somehow!”

Ever the joker, Harry joined in and asked: “Does anyone else here want to claim to be family?”

The couple then met with the Yankees team, who gifted them an adorable personalised baseball jersey for baby Archie.

The outing is Meghan’s second official public appearance since she and Harry welcomed their son last month.

She made her return to Trooping The Colour – where she joined Harry, as well as Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their three children – to mark the queen’s 93rd birthday.

It’s since been reported that the Queen is planning to throw Meghan a party at her estate in Scotland to celebrate the Duchess’ 38th birthday.

“The Queen and Prince Philip adore the couple and, of course, their new great-grandson Archie, and they have invited them to Balmoral for a few days,” a source recently told The Sun.

“It is a testament to Meghan that she has been given this invite. It’s a huge honour.”

The Queen has reportedly asked the royal catering team to make Meghan a special cake to celebrate her big day, and it’s also been reported that that Sussex family will have their very own wing in Balmoral estate – which is rumoured to be the Queen’s favourite.

“It’s no secret Balmoral is Her Majesty’s favourite home, and that’s why this invite is so special and heartfelt,’ the source added.

Meghan’s heritage

Some have claimed Meghan Markle is the first mixed-race member of the Royal Family.

Historians are still arguing about Queen Charlotte, the wife of King George III.

But Meghan will be the first royal to openly embrace a mixed-race heritage.

She has written about the difficulties of being a biracial actress in Hollywood as she claims she is not black enough for some roles and not white enough for others.
