Kevin Durant CONFIRMS he will join Nets in free agency on Instagram

It was revealed just minutes before free agency opened that Durant would be signing for the Nets.

And the two-time NBA Finals MVP has now made it official using his company owned sports business network ‘The Boardroom’s’ Instagram account to make the announcement.

“Kevin Durant to sign with Brooklyn Nets,” the post read.

“Kevin Durant has confirmed he will sign a max deal with the Brooklyn Nets when the free agent moratorium period ends on July 6th.”

The former Golden State Warrior will put pen to paper on a four-year contract worth $164million.

And all the rumours suggesting Durant wanted to team up with Kyrie Irving in free agency seem to be true.

The All Star point guard has also agreed terms on a four-year deal to join the Nets, in a deal worth $141m.
