Cyberpunk 2077 update: Proof that this will be the BIGGEST game ever made?

Cyberpunk 2077 fans have been given good news and bad news ahead of next year’s release.

Fresh Cyberpunk 2077 details have emerged over on the PSN pre-order page for PS4.

According to the PS4 pre-order page, Cyberpunk 2077 will weigh in at a minimum of 80GB on PlayStation.

As Gamingbolt points out, this number has a good chance of increasing when the game actually launches in 2020.

The 80GB file size already makes Cyberpunk 2077 one of the biggest games on PS4, and any increase could eventually see it surpass Red Dead Redemption.

Of course, the downside to this is that you might have to spend all day downloading the game before you can play it.

CD Projekt will almost certainly give fans a pre-load option, which will ensure it’s ready for the moment it launches.

In the meantime, fans can download a Cyberpunk 2077 freebie from the PSN Store.

To celebrate the Cyberpunk 2077 pre-order page going live on the PS4, CD Projeckt is giving away a free Cyberpunk-themed download to fans.

PS4 owners can download a special Cyberpunk 2077 home screen for their consoles.

Available from the PlayStation Store, the theme is said to feature backgrounds, icons, sounds and music inspired by the upcoming release.

“Transform your PlayStation 4 home screen into a netrunner’s terminal with this official Cyberpunk 2077 theme, featuring backgrounds, icons, sounds and music inspired by CD PROJEKT RED’s open-world, action-adventure story of the dark future!

“After downloading, you can select the theme you want to use via the Themes option on the PS4 system’s Settings menu.”

The free download goes some way towards making up for the lack of Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay footage from E3 2019.

According to a hidden message discovered within a Cyberpunk 2077 unboxing video posted by CD Projekt, fans will have to wait until Gamescom or PAX East in August for new gameplay footage.

The it’s just a matter of waiting for the April 16 release date on PS4 and Xbox One.
