Charlie's Angels cast: Who does Kristen Stewart play? Who plays Bosley and the Angels?

The new trailer for the Charlie’s Angels reboot was released online yesterday June 27, 2019. The reaction has been, perhaps surprisingly, positive to the first glimpse at the 2019 Charlie’s Angels. Charlie’s Angels was initially announced back in 2015, from Sony Pictures with Elizabeth Banks co-writing, directing, and co-producing.

Who is in the cast of the Charlie’s Angels remake?

Strictly speaking, the 2019 iteration of Charlie’s Angels is not a remake and features a whole new list of Angels here to save the world.

The franchise is based on a 1970s TV show starring Kate Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, Jaclyn Smith, Cheryl Ladd, Shelley Hack, and Tanya Roberts.

The 2000 reboot starred Cameron Diaz, Lucy Liu, and Drew Barrymore.

From there, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen joined in a sequel to the 2000 reboot.

The new Charlie’s Angels are:

Kristen Stewart, who rose to fame as the star of YA franchise Twilight and has since gone on to have an increasingly diverse career, plays Sabina Wilson.

Naomi Scott, of Aladdin fame, plays Elena Houghlin, a programmer who developed a very powerful and potentially dangerous product.

Elena initially calls on the Angels for protection, before becoming one herself.

Ella Balinska, who stars in the upcoming The Athena, plays Jane Kano, another Angel.

In the new reboot, there are multiple Bosleys as confirmed by Banks on an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Banks, who plays one of the Bosleys, said: “We have multiple Bosley’s in the movie.

“We take the entire historical context of Charlie’s Angels, which was founded by Charles Townsend in the 70′s, and we treat it all as canon and we bring it all into this movie.

“The only character that had the same name the whole time, but was played by different actors in all the iterations, was Bosley.

“So I thought why don’t we make that a rank instead of like the actual character name.

“So like I’m a Bosley, Patrick Stewart‘s a Bosley and Djimon Hounsou. We’re still the handlers.”

Other Bosleys are Sam Claflin, Djimon Hounsou, and Patrick Stewart.

Noah Centineo plays Langston, with Luis Gerardo Méndez as The Saint.

Jonathan Tucker, Chris Pang and Nat Faxon have been cast in undisclosed roles.

Charlie’s Angels is out in cinemas on November 29, 2019.
